www.geekmythologycrafts.com got yet another overhaul-- being a web designer makes it imperative to fall out-of-love with your own site rather frequently. But in any case, the site is under construction yet again as we prepare for AnimeNext.

Well it's been a minute since I've had time to sit down and update Geek Mythology Crafts-related stuff on the internet. So here's a little run-down of what I've been able to accomplish in the last 24 hours. :D

• Updated the layout of our blog
• Posted a WIP photo of my bead sprite magnum opus
• Re-subscribed at DeviantArt and updated journal layout (like wow)

Well OK, this bulleted list is a lot shorter than I made it seem, but hey, I like progress. Now that we're in our new workspace, Geek Mythology Crafts should be pumping out more material, and therefore updated the LIvejournal a little more often, eh......?

Only time will tell! :D

Well we've been super-busy with other things so there hasn't been much talk from us lately. However, tomorrow we'll be at the Greater Philadelphia Expo for the Game Core Convention, and we're psyched about that! We'll have a fair amount of sprite on sale despite the little time we've had to produce them. I hope everything goes well! We'll probably have a report to share eventually!

Bead Sprites - The Koopa Kids

We've been working on bead sprites of the Koopalings from Super Mario Bros for a long while now. We're ALMOST finished them. All that's left is Iggy! We'll be putting these up for auction at the Otakon Art Show next weekend. I'm sort of reluctant because, well, I love these guys! Oh well, I'll be excited to see who else loves them! :D

Hello world! As they say...

Well Geek Mythology Crafts is all over the place. I decided to set up a LiveJournal because, well, so many people like to use it as their blogging platform! I suppose it can't hurt for Geek Mythology Crafts to have a LJ too!

For those of you who don't know, Geek Mythology Crafts is a "geek craft" team (of 2) that specializes in creating "Bead Sprites" of various video game and Anime/comic characters. We've taken our geeky wares to a couple of Anime conventions and we're working on expanding our repertoire to other custom toys and geekeries.
